St. Baldrick's

I’ve got some awesome friends. Not only are they always there for me, but they also dedicate their time and talents to some truly great causes. So, when one of my friends is doing something truly great, I like to tell everyone about it!

Last week I traveled to North Chicago to watch my awesome (and very brave) friend shave all of her hair for the wonderful charity, St. Baldrick’s. From their website, “St. Baldrick’s is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.” Elise shaved her head in memory of a friend she lost to cancer a couple months ago and, I gotta say, I don’t think she’s ever looked more beautiful.
