The Last Three Years

It’s weird to think about the past three years. I started OMG in January of 2009, during my senior year at Notre Dame. (Boy that seems like forever ago!) That first year I booked two weddings, one of which was my cousin and her husband’s wedding. I am so grateful for those first two weddings! The fact that they trusted a new photographer to shoot the biggest day in their lives is something I don’t take for granted. I had worked with other photographers as a second shooter, but those first two really taught me a lot about being the boss! Since then, I have worked with twenty-one other couples on their wedding days and have even more booked for this year! I learn from all of my clients and try to improve my photography skills with each shoot. I love how every wedding is unique and I never feel like I’m shooting the same thing twice!

So, in honor of the New Year and my third anniversary, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my wonderful clients (and clients-to-be) for their trust and support. I’ve been so lucky to be able to work with the coolest, nicest, prettiest, easiest going couples! You all are really the Bee’s knees!
