Big Day: Katy and Larry

Katy and Larry’s wedding was AH-MAH-ZING! It was so much fun to be able to travel down to New Orleans and experience the city in such a fun way. Katy is so full of energy and optimism that it’s contagious; you can’t be around her without feeling happier. Larry balances Katy with his sweet and kind manner; they are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. It makes sense that they are both teachers… their students are incredibly lucky!

Their wedding was absolutely beautiful and filled with all kinds of New Orleans elements. From the cable car where we took some photos to the second line that marched them into the reception and then all of the fun Mardi Gras decorations, the whole day was just super fun! And, as always, when there are a lot of Notre Dame Alums at the party, it’s going to have a special place in my heart… which this one definitely did. Congratulations, Katy and Larry!! You guys are awesome and I’m SO grateful that I got to be a part of your day!
