Luckily, they also have one more thing in common: they are all healthy and happy kids. However, the fact remains that according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly 500,000 babies will be born premature this year in the United States… that’s 1 out of every 9 babies born will be premature.

On April 20, 2013, OMG Photography will be hosting Pictures in the Park to raise funds for the March of Dimes. The mission of the March of Dimes is " [to] help moms have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of babies." Many of you already know of the work I do for another great organization, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. I’ve witnessed devastated new parents lose their newborns and while I’m grateful that I can be a part of the process to help ease their pain, it would be amazing if we could prevent their pain all together.

So, as I said before, on April 20, 2013 OMG Photography will be hosting Pictures in the Park at Howard Park in South Bend, IN. At Pictures in the Park, I will be shooting 34 mini sessions from 9:30AM until 6:00PM. Each mini session will last 15 minutes and will come with THREE complimentary high resolution digital files; you can expect to have about 30 photos to choose from. I am charging $150 for each mini session and 100% of the proceeds will go to The March of Dimes to support their mission.
