Dietz Family

I love the Dietz Family. Cathy is my mentor and fellow photographer. Back in 2006 Cathy hired me as her intern… it was my first ever photo job. It was awesome. Cathy really showed me what it means to run a studio. She taught me what a photo workflow was and let me play around with her equipment. She didn’t even freak out when I came back from borrowing one of her lenses crying because I had dropped the lens and thought I had broken it completely… luckily I just cracked the filter! Over the years, Cathy and her family have become part of my ‘South Bend Family’. I know that if I ever need anything, they are there and willing to help. I am so fortunate to have them in my life and it’s been awesome to watch her daughters grow up over these past few years! Today, I went with the Dietz Family to pick out their Christmas Tree and while we were out and about they let me take some family photos. Just look how cool they all are! :-)
